December...

The Fab 40’s are alight in holiday glow. A simple errand runs me into backed-up holiday- light traffic. All I want to do is get my dinner home, and rest, but I end up amongst crowds of revelers. It's ok, though, it makes me smile at the irony of it all.
December came quick and is extra chilly-dark this year. My heart drifts home to be under a warm blanket, leaving the rest of my body and mind feeling disconnected from the day-to-day.

Nights are long and short all at once. The morning alarm is somehow always right around the corner, the night full of restless sleep and strange dreams.
Red, yellow, orange, brown, rust and gold, the colors of change. Warm colors of transition, movement, loss, letting go, and of starting over. Every day from here, I’ll cherish. Plans for the new year already trickling on to my calendar.
I’ll hold on to each day of December, before it slips away and the new year begins. Peaceful Holiday Wishes & a Happy New Year.
XO, M
